Colombo, Sri Lanka, April 17 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following news release:

The Quartermasters Commissioning Course No. 7 conducted from 06 January 2025 to 02 April 2025 at the Army School of Logistics, Trincomalee, concluded successfully with the participation of 99 Probationary Officers.

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, addressed the course participants at the Army Headquarters on 17 April 2025.

During his remarks, the Army Chief highlighted the critical role of Quartermasters in ensuring logistical efficiency and operational readiness. He commended the Probationary Officers for completing the course and urged them to apply their newly acquired knowledge towards improved supply chain management, resource optimisation and administrative responsibilities. He further encouraged them to uphold discipline, integrity and professional excellence in their respective roles.

The Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, Principal Staff Officers, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
