Colombo, Sri Lanka, April 27 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
A delegation from the Bangladesh Army, comprising 14 Officers and 27 Other Ranks, participated in an observation tour to the 2 (V) Battalion of the Gemunu Watch (GW) and the historic Galle Fort on 25 April 2025, during their visit to Sri Lanka.
The delegation was received by Brigadier S.W.P.M.H.R Senadhera RWP USP psc, Commander, 573 Infantry Brigade, together with the Commanding Officer of 2 (V) GW.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the history of the Galle Fort and the operational roles of the 2 (V) GW.
