The Deputy Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Board of Management (BOM) of the Laya Chain of Hotels, Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, conducted an inspection of Laya Waves in Kalkudah on Saturday (10th May 2025). During the visit, the Deputy Chief of Staff identified key areas in need of a facelift in order to attract more tourists and further promote the Laya Hotels brand across the country.
He further instructed the staff to enhance and maintain the quality of the hotel to align with the standards of other hotel chains in Sri Lanka, while also providing improved welfare facilities for serving and retired Officers and Other Ranks to boost their morale. He also took the opportunity to commend and encourage the dedicated staff of Laya Waves for their hard work and commitment.
Lieutenant Colonel P.M.I.M. Pathiraja RWP RSP, General Manager of Laya Waves, accompanied the Deputy Chief of Staff during the inspection.
