CHANGE OF COMMAND AT NO 2 MTR&OW AT SLAF BASE VAVUNIYA

Colombo, Sri Lanka, April 29 -- Sri Lanka Air Force issued the following news release:

The Change of Command at No 2 Mechanical Transport Repair and Overhaul Wing in SLAF Base Vavuniya took place yesterday (28 April 2025). The outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain GGSK Guruge RWP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), BSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, Pg Dip (Def Mgt), MIM (SL), psc handed over the command to Wing Commander BS Gamage BSc (Def Stu) Eng (Hons).

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain GGSK Guruge will be assuming the duties as Staff Officer Motor Transport at the Directorate of General Engineering at Air Force Headquarters subsequently.
