Colombo, Sri Lanka, June 5 -- Sri Lanka Air Force issued the following news release:
The 13th Defence Services Wushu Championship 2024/2025 conducted successfully at the Sri Lanka Army Mahinda Rajapaksa Indoor Gymnasium, Ambepussa from 02 to 04 June 2025. The Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Wushu, Brigadier CS Thibbatuge graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The Sri Lanka Air Force Women's Wushu team emerged as the Women's Champions, securing an impressive haul of three Gold, three Silver and Five bronze medals.
The event was attended by the Chairman of SLAF Wushu, Air Commodore Sulochana Marapperuma, SLAF Wushu officials, senior officers Sri Lanka Army and Navy and other Wushu officials.
